What Asma Bint Yazid means
The Speaker of Women — Asma bint Yazid al-Ansariyyah (RA), called Khatibat al-Nisa (the Orator/Speaker of Women). She came to the Prophet ﷺ as a delegate on behalf of all Muslim women and asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, you were sent to men and women, but we women are confined while men pray Jumu'ah, attend battles, and care for the sick. What is our share of this reward?' The Prophet was pleased and answered with complete justice. At the Battle of Yarmouk, she killed 9 Byzantine soldiers with her tent pole.
